When you sleep, you fight cancer and dementia, fight off colds and flu, lower the risks of heart attacks, strokes, and diabetes, boost your memory and make yourself more creative and look better, keep yourself slim and reduce your food cravings, make yourself happier, less depressed and less anxious.
People sleep too little. Whether due to work, sport or relaxing in front of the television - sleep is quickly cut back. This happens even though the majority know that this can have significant individual and collective consequences.
My bachelor's thesis launches "The Rapid Eye Movement". It is intended to give those affected by sleep deprivation the push they may need to switch to healthier sleeping behaviour.
The approach was chosen in order to break away from the classic framing of the sleep topic, to give sleep a cooler image and to achieve a motivating effect through visual appeal.
